A companion for extra sleeping

In old Bangkok households the daybed was never just for sleeping. It was where guests were received, where afternoon tea was served, and where the youngest member of the family napped through the hottest hours.

Our custom reclaimed teak daybed follows that tradition. Built in our Sukhumvit workshop from salvaged timber, it carries the proportions of a classic Chinese kang bed with a lighter, modern frame.

Place it at the foot of a bed, on a covered terrace or in a study, and it quietly becomes the most used seat in the house.
