Rare antique ox cart guardian carving from Burma carved from teak wood and painted red mounted on a stand. Â This prow is in two pieces joined together. Â The “tail” features a crocodile and scaled body. Â The “head” is a naga serpent with a swan on his head and a mother monkey with baby monkey on her back holding the cheeks of the serpent and putting her mouth on its chin. Â The mother monkey is getting a boost from another monkey sitting on a flower.
